| I wasn't called back for Sound of Music...Oh, men!!! Like I want to punish myself for not doing good in the audition. Or perhaps I looked bad since my hair got too long already. Hmmm...But I"m cool! I just had my opening for Aladdin this afternoon and just as any other performances it was a blast. Muntik pa kong magkamali....haayy....but that's not a laughing matter...you're supposed be a professional, Franz!!! ....oh well. I think I had high energy kanina since it was my first show with an audience. Haha, finally I can add Aladdin Jr. na to my list of accomplished musicals. Sana next Children's play lead ulit ako like in Emperor's... Hmmm....I wonder why I only have one role this year. All of them got two roles each...Hmmm...Bakit kaya? ... Anyways, tomorrow i'll start directing "From Out of the Whirlwind". It's a straight play about the bible character Job. I'm very excited... I wonder what will be my next play as an actor...hmmm.... Anyways, I'm off for now. tah-tah!!! | | |
| Hmmm...Let me write about love this time para maiba naman.
LOVE IS...
Love is patient...Love is kind...It does not envy...It does not boast...It is not proud.
It is not rude...It is not self seeking...It is not easily angered...It keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects...always trusts...always hopes...always perseveres.
Love nerver fails!!!
<don't forget to scroll down...I have a slide show of myself for your viewing pleasure...Huryy!!! It's still exclusively free just for you!!!> Hahaha...

| Last June 28, the band of Pamilya Maleta went to Tacloban, Leyte to perform at the 2006 Pintados Kasadyaan Festival. On the eve of our departure i spent the night in my friend's house who leaves near the airport. I arrived in their place around pass midnight na coming from "alladdin jr." rehearsal in rep. We did choreo that night kaya naman i was sssoooooo tired! BIG TIME!!! I didn't have time to wash-up so i went to sleep na. YUCKY feeling.
After closing my eyes...i heard a voice..."gising na."
Walang jo...two hours na pala yun. We need to be in the airport by 3:30 AM so nagbihis lang ako then we went na to the airport. We boarded the plane, textd my favorite student and we arrived in Leyte around past 7am. Star-studded sa plane. There was Pops Fernandez, Hans Montenegro and Francis Matheu...WOW!!!
When we landed in Leyte we saw our hosts holding up a sgin that says "TRUMPETS" haha...Finally we got our stuff na and met our hosts and headed for the hotel...Heto na... When we got there we expected to have a good rest...but guess what?..."Surprise!!! We don't have rooms prapared for you..."
was our situation for the next two hours. Since i didnt washed-up the night b4 you could imagine how i was feeling na that time....
And then..."Surprise!!! We only have one room for all of you..."
WHAT!!!???
ay!!! nagcomplain na kami. For hours we waited and finally they tranferred us in Prime Rose Hotel. (Its more like of a motel to me..) Better than the other one but the standard sitll doesn't pass mine. I was able to wash up and then rest. ZZZZ...
We all woke up at 3pm and headed to the Governor's hall for our lunch. Grabe!!! Parang ice cream yung pagkain sa laming.
Sabi nga ng borther ko "Foods that are served hot, should be kept hot." After eating we headed to the hall where we rehearsed. Nag picture pictrue muna kami. Ang saya nung rehearsal-kahit nag brown-out pa. After that we were brought to Ocho Seafood resto. Ang sarap naman men nung food! Yummy talaga!!!
Tapos punta kami sa San Karlos cafe- parang starbucks na my internet cafe. ok yung place.
after nun uwi..tulog...
The next day we did some stage adjustments after breakfast. The venue is at the RTR Plaza. Super init.
Nagka problema ng konti... kasi meron daw banda that will set up their instrumetns on the stage where we will perform but it was setteled din naman. After that we ate lunch and we watched the Pintados Festival Parade. Got a couple of pictures. Then we went back to the hotel to prepare for the show. Our call time is at 5:30PM and the show is at 7. hahaha. Sinundo kami past 6 na. We we'rent able to sound check until it was very late na. Then it happened...I rained...
super lakas and ang tagal.... after an hour the rain sotpped...and the show began.
The supposedly opening act of one of our members was a complete disaster.
as in... but God is good...then the play started...the plaza was jam-packed. siper dami ng nakarining ng gospel thru the drama. They loved the numbers and I'm sure that seeds were planted in their hearts. After the show we headed back to the hotel but we planned to go out again and buy pasalubongs. Then all of a sudden...i noticed something..."Nasan yung wallet ko?"
The next 30 mins of my life was spent in search of my wallet. I went back to the bus...WALA! I went back to San Karlos Cafe...WALA! I went back to the hotel room...WALA! but while i was searching i was at peace... knowing that i will find it pa rin. I prayed. WALA pa rin. I went with my friends un buying pasalubong and since I lost my wallet, kakapirangot lang nabili ko. No pasalubong for my mom, dad, friends in rep, etc. then we went back to the hotel and rested.
We got up early to catch our early flight back to manila. When we boarded the bus... i went to the seat where i sat the night before. I looked under the seat...BULAGA!!! i saw my wallet waiting for me. hahaha
So i went home very happy!!!
LESSON: Its not with our ideals and high standards God works. Regardless of the situation at hand, He could turn bad things to result to good ones.

| This is a song from the musical with the same title and
I recently exclusively dedicate this to my adopted brother.
Super bait niya kasi eh. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
You really make my days brighter with your simple but
meaningful gesture and stuff. Never change. I’m always
here for you bunso. ALWAYS!!! Keep that in mind, ha?
Enjoy the song!!! Text ka lang any time, any day, any where.
Whistle Down the Wind
By Andrew Lloyd Webber
Whistle down the wind, let your voices carry Drown out all the rain, light a patch of darkness Treacherous and scary
Howl at the stars, whisper when your sleeping I'll be there to hold you, I'll be there to stop The chills and all the weeping
Make it clear and strong, so the whole night long Every signal that you send, until the very end I will not abandon you my precious friend
So try and stem the tide, then you'll raise a banner Send a flare up in the sky, try to burn a torch And try to build a bonfire Every signal that you send, until the very end, I'm there
So whistle down the wind, for I have always been right there
